I am so lucky to have a husband who makes my coffee every morning.

Surprise Date Night

Tuesday I came home from class, and Jered said, "Your not running today, we are going on date."

It was much needed and quite perfect.

I have been bugging him about how I need surprises in our marriage.

He did it.

Dinner date and a movie of my choice. 

I love my husband.

Love-Hate Relationship

I miss blogging. 

school has been very time demanding

on top of training for another half marathon.

I feel like this has been the hardest it has ever been to get back into shape.

Its very discouraging.

Janie and I will be running a half marathon in mid-novemeber.

We will see how it goes.

I will keep chugging along with training.

As Mr. P90X would say, "I Hate it, but I Love it" (in a really creepy voice) 

First Project

I have been trying to use my sewing machine.

This was my first project.

My wonderful husband showed me this blog, that he know I would love!

This girl is buying a 1$ dress a day at thrift stores and making it her own.

This has inspired me.

I am working on a piece I got at the Greenville Thriftstore.

I have not sewed since my freshman year of highschool!

My mom got me a sewing machine and I love it!

I learned last night that I remember nothing about sewing. haha

I am reading lots of blogs and watching lots of youtube videos!

It will hopefully be done this weekend!

life goes on...

Life.

 For most of us, its not easy. 

There are trials, bumps in the road, hurtful things are said, people simply disappoint. 

For me, I have learned to survive.

I like to think of myself as a survivor. 

I am thankful for this.

Our stories make us who we are.

With all of the bad, I still seem to find- Life is good.

There is hope in the world.

To Germany we go...someday

Jered's family just got a new foreign exchange student.

He is so sweet. 

I am excited to get to know him!

Its freaky how much he looks the Schneider family.

I want to go visit him when he goes back to Germany!

We are determined to do this.

How amazing would that be??

I love my husband.

The following reasons are why I have the best husband.

For real, he is better than anyone else.

* He excepts me for who I am

* He knows when I am cranky and he gets all my stuff for work ready for me

* He loves cooking and food just as much as me.

* He just gets me

* He is the best with kids

I pretty much hit the jackpot with this guy.

I am The Luckiest. 

I really need to post pictures from Kaity and Austin's Wedding.

There are so many on my phone and I keep forgetting to bring the cord to work.

Fail. 

Hopefully this weekend I can accomplish that!

It was such a beautiful wedding and Kaity was so beautiful.

So, hopefully that will come soon!

After the Teer Wedding Extravaganza

After an Amazing couple of days Celebrating the Wedding of 

Kaity and Austin...we headed to Chicago.

We had an amazing time.

It felt like a mini vacation for us.

We got to spend some great quality time together.

And got to spend some of the money we have been saving!

Saturday morning we headed to Wicker Park.

I love the creative feel of this neighborhood.

It has amazing boutiques, thrift shops, and culture.

I loved the shopping and Jered loved the music and book stores.

It was an amazing afternoon as husband and wife.

We had lunch at Jerry's Sandwiches.

It was amazing to say the least.

We got to sit outside on the sidewalk and enjoy the summer day.

It was a great lunch!

Later in the afternoon we had iCream.

It was an ice cream shop that makes the ice cream right in front of you!

It was amazing.

We spent the day dreaming about living in the city!

Hopefully someday...

I am talking between 30-40 dollars. Some even cheaper!

Its actually where I got my bridesmaids dresses!

Mix for a boring day at work.

This is the first day of my life...

Yesterday Jered and I spent the whole day together.

This was one of the first days he has not worked and we had nothing to do since we have been married!

It was such a wonderful day.

It began with getting a new mattress!

It will be here tomorrow! (cant wait)

Then we got lunch at Imo's Pizza. 

Yumm!!

They have such great lunch specials.

The rest of the day was spent in St. Louis.

The day included the Galleria Mall, Forest Park, trying to go to the Art Museum, and the loop. (Oh and Jered bought a comic book)

We used our very first Groupon at Cicero's Pizza and got fozen yogurt at Fro-Yo.

Jered loves comic books.

Lots of pictures! We had such a wonderful day together as 

husband and wife.

Yesterday was a reminder of why I love Jered.

He has so many interests! 

He loves music, comic books, art, football, computers, movies, tv shows, food and the list goes on.

What's great is he is knowledgeable about all of these!

He amazes me.

A New Me.

I have been debating all summer about whether or not to cut my bangs. I needed something new, so I went for it!

I love it! I feel like I got a new haircut and I still kept my length! It's great!

pizza!

Last night we went to a new restaurant in Edwardsville,

Peel Wood Fire Pizza. It was very good. Very similar to 

California Pizza Kitchen.

The pizza is brick oven pizza, and it was amazing!

Its a little on the pricey side, but very good!

We will be back for sure!

We forgot to take pictures of our food! That NEVER happens!

We were sooo hungry...

Oh Greenville...

Jered and I got up this morning and realized we were out of coffee!

I said don't worry hunny, I will walk to Adams Brother and get us some.

So I hurried and got ready and went to Adam's Brothers Coffee...

CLOSED! 

I thought its ok, I will try the Turret Cafe...

CLOSED!

How are all the coffee shops closed on a Wednesday Morning when everyone needs a pick me up before work on hump day?

Oh Greenville...

What would we do without coffee?

p.s. no matter how cranky i am in the morning...Jered always looks at me with his squinty eyes as he shuffles to the bathroom and says "hi pretty" or "hi, your pretty". he's the best.

p.s.s. I really want a shiba inu. I wish dogs didn't require so much work. :(

Ok, so Jered and I have been listening to a lot of music while we edit the wedding video.

We have also been making playlists of potential wedding video music.

So, I thought why not have a weekly playlist on the blog.

first wedding video

This weekend we had a blast filming the Gaylord/Hillmer Wedding.

Tj filmed our wedding for us and we got to return the favor.

Jered and I loved filming together.

Its a great opportunity to be creative together.

(Video will be posted this week).

Here are some photos of the day.

Yesterday we began the editing process.

But it was not all fun and games.

We had one of our first big arguments as Husband and Wife.

We sat down at the computer and it was all down hill from there!

Jered started editing and I started giving my input about how the process should go. 

There was a major power struggle.

We both like to be in-charge!

Words were exchanged such as, "who nominated you to be in charge of editing."

"Your not creative"

"I should be doing this"

It was not good.

Finally, we talked it out. Went and got some dinner. 

And all was good again.

We sat down and tried it again.

We worked together as a team and it was so much fun.

The video is going to be very good for our first attempt!

Geek Glasses

the geek glasses are back! 

I am loving the trend of the geek glasses.

I was walking around the mall last night and I kept seeing people with these glasses! Love it!

Husband & Wife time = the best.

Last night we made homemade biscuits and gravy.

Sooo good.

Jered made his into a deluxe biscuit and gravy! Biscuits with potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese, and gravy on top. 

(his belly still hurt this morning).

The rest of the night was spent watching wedding videos. 

We are filming our friend's wedding this weekend!

We are so excited.

We love being creative together!

We also began working on a slide show for our great friends

Kaity and Austin.

They are getting married Aug. 6th. We cannot be more excited for them!

Mostly we are excited to have them to hang out with again (Austin has been at home in Vancouver, B.C.)

Anyways, editing turned into a silly photo shoot which includes my snuggie, and our TV as our monitor!

I am loving life as Mrs. Schneider!!
